Girl, 4, Hit by Car, Dies at Hospital

ANAHEIM — A 4-year-old girl who apparently darted into the street Wednesday morning was hit by a car and died, officials said.
Kimberly Cadenas died about 5 p.m. at UCI Medical Center in Orange from injuries she suffered when she was hit by a car on Sycamore Street, according to a deputy coroner. Emergency workers said the child apparently ran between parked cars and into the path of an oncoming car.
Anaheim police released no information Wednesday on the incident.
