Office Lights

Every day I commute from Canoga Park through Warner Center to Torrance along the Ventura and San Diego freeways. I am staggered every morning as I drive along at 4 a.m. to see the number of office buildings with interior lights lit. I see this in almost every building and in every neighborhood. It’s not always the same offices, but it is always the same buildings. What is particularly galling is brightly lit vacant office space. Such a waste. Such a pity.
