MAI Acquires Cimpro

IRVINE — MAI Systems Corp. on Thursday announced that it has acquired the Cimpro division of Datalogix International Inc. for $5.9 million in cash. Cimpro, based in Valhalla, N.Y., develops processing systems for food, chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturers.
MAI Systems provides information systems for the hotel and resort markets, as well as mid-size manufacturers. Datalogix is a subsidiary of Oracle Corp.
