Former N. Korean Prime Minister Dies

SEOUL — Former North Korean Prime Minister Kang Song San, who was replaced last month, has died, South Korean news reports said today.
South Korea’s KBS television, quoting anonymous sources in Tokyo, said former Deputy Premier Kim Tal Hyon had been chosen as Kang’s replacement.
Seoul’s Dong-A Ilbo newspaper said Kang died Feb. 22, one day after North Korean Defense Minister Choe Kwang, 78, died of a heart attack.
