Online Romance

I have been doing a not-so-slow burn ever since reading “Virtual Sex, Lies and Cyberspace” (April 10). What an incredible waste of phone lines, especially at a time when the phone companies are trying to get the Internet service providers to pay them more because they say their lines are becoming overloaded.

Am I going to have to pay more because a lot of unattractive losers are whiling away their time having imaginary sex with their computers? Do business users have difficulty connecting because others are tying up the lines in the sex chat rooms?

As for the couple in your article, perhaps their sex lives would improve if they would join a gym!
