Zubrin, from Corona del Mar High, did her part to help Orange Coast win the state women’s swimming title last weekend at Hartnell College in Salinas. She took first in the one- and three-meter diving events to earn 40 points as Orange Coast finished with 430 1/2 points. Diablo Valley, which was second, had 366 1/2. It was the eighth title in nine years for the Pirates.
