Motoki Wakabayashi, above, might be a Japanese citizen, but he’s an All-American diver. The Pierce College student this week was selected to the Junior College All-American team. The freshman from Saga, Japan, was also honored as the best swimmer or diver in the Western State Conference. He was undefeated in eight dual meets and won both the one- and three-meter springboard diving titles at the Southern California regional championships.
