what are you drinking?

I have to go back a few years, but when I was visiting the Domaine de la Romanee-Conti, Andre Noble, who was the winemaker there, gave me a taste of a 1945 La Ta^che, the wine I courted my wife with in 1956. That was the best, most incredible bottle of wine I have ever come anywhere near. It made me laugh and cry. Winemaking is what I do, and I have tasted a lot of bottles of wine, but this clearly was in a class by itself. It makes me sentimental just thinking about it.
