Just Ask the Expert

I occasionally read Robert Bruss’ “Real Estate Q&A;” column. Almost every week he gives the advice to see an attorney (regarding a legal problem) or to see a professional real estate agent (about the sale or purchase of real estate).

I was therefore intrigued that when the question of life insurance came up (“Should Buyer Purchase Mortgage Insurance?” May 4), he did not refer it to a professional. Indeed, he made the universal statement “avoid whole life insurance. . . .”

Interesting that he could master this field and summarize it in one sentence.
