Former teen-pop star Kylie Minogue, who made an unlikely collaboration with fellow Australian Nick Cave on the latter’s “Murder Ballads” album last year, continues to try to gain rock credibility. She has just teamed with members of Manic Street Preachers to write and record “Some Kind of Bliss,” which will be her next single. That song and another done with the Preachers will also be featured on her upcoming “Impossible Princess,” due in mid-September. Minogue has also shifted her image from young glamour girl to a waif-ier look.
