BREA — Simulation Sciences Inc. agreed to acquire Biles & Associates Inc., a Houston a provider of information management and control systems for manufacturers, for $4.4 million.
Simulation Sciences said it expects the transaction to close before the end of September.
Simulation Sciences provides commercial simulation software and services to the petroleum and industrial-chemicals process industries and to related engineering and construction firms.
