Traditional Procession Planned

The feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe will be celebrated Friday at St. Paschal Baylon Church in Thousand Oaks.
The traditional procession will begin at 6:45 p.m. in the school patio of the church grounds at 155 E. Janss Road.
The altar bearing the statue of the Virgin of Guadalupe, surrounded by flowers, will proceed across the parking lot to the church. Mariachis and flower-bearing parishioners from North and South America will accompany the procession. Mass in Spanish and English will follow, and a reception will conclude the evening’s festivities.
On Dec. 13, the church will celebrate Advent Solemn Vespers at 7 p.m. The public is invited.
Continuing observance of the season, an Advent Penance celebration will begin at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 15 at the church, with parish and neighboring parish priests available to hear confession.
