McClain’s Late Free Throw Lifts Glory

Katrina McClain made a free throw with less than a second remaining Thursday night to lift the Atlanta Glory to a 76-75 victory victory over the Columbus Quest before 3,127 at Atlanta.

Player-Coach Teresa Edwards led Atlanta with 21 points and 11 rebounds. The Glory improved to 10-10.

Shannon Johnson led the Quest (16-5) with 22 points.

San Jose 75, Portland 70--Jennifer Azzi scored 24 points as the Lasers (10-13) beat the Power (14-8) before 4,722 at Portland, Ore.
