Another Aleutians Quake

PALMER, Alaska — A 6.6-magnitude earthquake struck off the Aleutian Islands late Tuesday, 11 days after a powerful quake in the same region. There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
The earthquake at 8:30 p.m. PST was centered in the Pacific Ocean about 200 miles southwest of Adak Island, said Tom Sokolowski of the Alaska Tsunami Warning Center in Palmer. It did not generate a tidal wave.
