In the Marina tournament semifinals:

San Clemente 4, Sierra Vista (Ariz.) 0--Bryce Sebastian scored in the 23rd minute for San Clemente (8-1-2), which advanced to play Los Angeles Loyola, a 2-0 winner over Fountain Valley, in the final at 1 p.m. today.

San Clemente barely advanced to the semifinals, needing a second-half own goal to defeat Ocean View, 2-1, in the quarterfinals.

In the Excalibur girls’ soccer tournament:

Chino 2, No. 2 Mission Viejo 1--The Diablos (7-2-1) were handed their second defeat in a week. Lindsey Lugo and Kristine Gonzales each scored for Chino.

No. 8 Santa Margarita 1, No. 9 Canyon 0--Jenny Anderson scored for Santa Margarita, which advanced to the quarterfinals.

In the Ocean View tournament:

No. 5 Mater Dei 1, Huntington Beach 0 (Mater Dei wins on penalty kicks, 4-2)--Shavon Melendez made the winning penalty kick for Mater Dei (7-0-2), which advanced to the final to play Long Beach Poly.
