Powerwave Receives $18.4-Million Contract

IRVINE — Powerwave Technologies Inc. received an $18.4-million contract to supply cellular power amplifiers to one of its South Korean manufacturing partners.

Powerwave said shipments are expected to begin in the first quarter of fiscal 1998 and should be completed by the second quarter.
