Whole Foods Carting Out Child Treats

Whole Foods Markets, which operates 11 food stores in Southern California, is taking a cue from fast-food restaurants--it’s aiming incentives at kids. Youngsters can join a kids’ club and receive a free tote bag and stickers along with a free prize whenever they visit the store and show their kids’ club ID card. Whole Foods Markets benefits from sales of the goodies young shoppers manage to stick into parents’ food carts.
