Woman Hit by Car Is Left in a Coma

BUENA PARK — A Buena Park woman remained in critical condition Friday after she was hit by a car.
Tina Benson, 31, was crossing La Palma Avenue east of Valley View Street about 7:50 p.m. Thursday when a westbound vehicle struck her, police said. The driver was not cited.
Benson was taken to La Palma Intercommunity Hospital, and she remained in a coma in the intensive-care unit there Friday, police said.
