Health Fair, Free Shots at Revamped Hospital

South Coast Medical Center will sponsor a health fair and provide free flu shots from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 1.
The event will include seminars and screenings for poor nutrition, high blood pressure, stroke, anxiety, high cholesterol, skin cancer, arthritis and other ailments.
The event is intended to showcase $1.3 million in renovations to the center’s emergency department.
