Breast Cancer Screenings Offered Next 2 Months

A series of free breast cancer screenings, sponsored by EncorePLUS, an early breast cancer detection program offered by YWCA of North Orange County for low-income women over 40, will start today and continue through November.
Dates and places are:
* Today at the Orange Senior Citizens Community Center, 170 S. Olive, (714) 538-9633.
* Oct. 23 at Korean American Community Center, 9888 Garden Grove Blvd., Garden Grove, (714) 741-3310.
* Oct. 30 at Jeffrey-Lynn Community Center, 1633 S. Jeffrey Drive, Anaheim, (714) 956-7145.
* Nov. 6 at Placentia Senior Center, 143 S. Bradford, Placentia, (714) 993-8281.
* Nov. 14 at Mariposa Women’s Center, 812 W. Town & Country Road, Orange, (714) 547-6494.
All screenings will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Appointments: (714) 806-2037.
