Caliber Makes Inroads

IRVINE — Caliber Collision Centers has acquired Shawn’s Auto Works in Costa Mesa for an undisclosed sum.

Shawn’s has been serving automobile owners, dealerships and insurance companies in the Costa Mesa area since 1990. Former owner Shawn Hezar will continue working with Caliber.

Caliber, founded in 1991, manages a preferred provider network of collision repair centers serving the insurance industry, fleets and individuals. In addition to its corporate-owned centers, the firm manages a network of more than 100 collision repair centers throughout California.
