Solicitation Charges Cost Bar Its License

A bar’s liquor license was revoked after waitresses allegedly solicited customers for acts of prostitution, police said.

The state Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control suspended the Thien Kim Bar’s liquor license for 130 days beginning April 1. Last July, undercover investigators from the Anaheim and Fullerton police departments were solicited for prostitution, resulting in two arrests and, eventually, convictions, police said.

The bar, at 113 N. Magnolia Ave., must change owners and obtain another liquor license before it can reopen, police said.
