A Redirected Prop

Your item that the TV show “NewsRadio” is going to use props from the “Titanic” film is unintentionally amusing (Morning Report, April 14).
The props you listed were “deck chairs, a silver coffee maker, a brass arm, lamp, sexton [compass].” Somehow I doubt that even if the Titanic--either the ship or the movie--had a “sexton,” s/he would be considered a “prop.” However, the sextant, which is not a compass, might be.
