Add Robert Young to Pantheon of Heroes

Re “Say, Kids, What Time Is It? Alas, It’s Time to Say Goodbye” (Aug. 12): Thank you for your acknowledgment and reflections on our wonderful heroes (Roy Rogers, Shari Lewis, Buffalo Bob) who have recently left our world but never our memories.

One more hero needs to be mentioned, and that is Robert Young. He was a daddy (and he knew best) to so many of us baby boomers. May all these wonderful souls and spirits continue to be role models for us and ones to pass down to our future “buckaroos.”
