Name Chosen for New Middle School

The city’s first new middle school in 25 years, set to open in the fall of 1999, will be named Pioneer Middle School.
Tustin Unified School District board members said the choice was an easy one for a school at Pioneer Road and Pioneer Way in the Tustin Ranch area.
Students from Peters Canyon and Tustin Ranch elementary schools will attend the new campus.
