Party Plan

Huntington Beach police will turn out in force to prevent Fourth of July revelry from turning ugly, as it has in years past. Police expect the sort of subdued celebration that occurred last year. To that end, more than 200 officers will be on patrol, and most neighborhood streets in the downtown area will be barricaded from 1 p.m. July 4 to 2 a.m. July 5. Identification showing a local address will be required to get in or out.
