Re “Adult-Business Vote Provokes Talk of Recall,” July 2.
About reaction to the Simi Valley council’s decision to allow adult-oriented businesses in a small area, I have one question: Who appointed Steve Frank spokesman for Simi Valley?
Nobody wants to see adult businesses in Simi, but the courts made it clear they can’t be legally stopped. The council realizes this and OKd it in a way that should have the least impact on the city.
If people want to protest and take photographs of customers, that is their right. However, talk about recalling council members is just political grandstanding and a waste of a lot of money.
