Hewson Industrial to Build Canoga Park Plant

Hewson Industrial has announced plans to build a 145,000-square-foot light-manufacturing and distribution facility at 8901 Canoga Ave. in Canoga Park.
Sylmar-based Hewson, a commercial and industrial real estate development firm, plans to spend about $8.6 million on the project, including the cost of the land.
Company officials say the site will be available for tenants in January or February.
The new facility will be on a 7 1/2-acre parcel south of Nordhoff Street, adjacent to the Santa Susana Creek flood control channel.
