Left-handed pitcher Jason Bond was placed on the disabled list for the second time this season with an elbow injury. Bond was 7-3 with a 4.56 ERA.

Jose Gonzalez was called up from Wisconsin to replace Bond.

Greg Connors hit two home runs and Jayson Bass homered for the second consecutive game in the JetHawks’ 7-5 victory over San Jose on Wednesday night at the Hangar.
