AFI Needs Captions

Regarding the American Film Institute’s list of the 100 greatest American films:

Many deaf and hard-of-hearing people have never been able to enjoy these films in a movie theater. Though available on videocassette, many are not close-captioned, which enables viewers to “read” the dialogue they cannot hear.

The studios, the entertainment industry and the AFI should work together to close-caption each of the movies honored so that all Americans can enjoy this rich entertainment.
