Man Sought in Sexual Attack at Girl’s Home

SIMI VALLEY — Police are searching for a man who entered a residence early Sunday and sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl at knifepoint, authorities said.
The victim and her family were asleep in their home near Tapo Canyon Road and Cochran Street when the armed man entered the house through an unlocked door around 2 a.m., said Sgt. Bob Gardner of the Simi Valley Police Department.
The attacker, who was last seen on foot after the assault, is described only as a man in his 20s, Gardner said.
Police did not disclose details of the assault or how badly the girl was injured.
