Titans Split Softball Doubleheader

Cal State Fullerton split a doubleheader with Long Beach State in Big West softball Wednesday at Cal State Fullerton.

The Titans shut out the 49ers, 3-0, in the second game but lost the first, 2-0.

Donna Coombes (12-8) got the victory for the Titans, giving up four hits in seven innings. Stephenie Little hit a home run for Cal State Fullerton and teammate Stacy Pierson had a two-run single. Cal State Fullerton is 32-29, 16-16 in the Big West. Long Beach State is 38-18, 19-13.
