Egyptian Welcome

After reading your announcement about the reduced number of cruise ships calling in Egypt since the attack on tourists at Luxor last November (“News Tip & Bargains,” Feb. 15), it was with some trepidation that we went to Cairo in mid-March. However we can report that security was not an issue on our 10-day trip. From Aswan to Luxor to Cairo, the easygoing Egyptian people made sure that our trip was as comfortable as could be desired. Now is a great time to see Egypt before the crowds return.
