The Irvine manufacturer of dietary supplements and pharmaceuticals reported a second-quarter net loss of $8 million, or 59 cents a share, compared with a net loss of $6.4 million, or 58 cents a share, for the like period last year. Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 totaled $4 million. No revenue was posted for the second quarter of the previous fiscal year.
