Wieden & Kennedy Loses Another Exec

New York-based Lowe & Partners SMS appointed Vince Engel, formerly of Portland, Ore.-based Wieden & Kennedy, as vice president and creative director of its San Francisco office, a new position. In accepting the post, Engel becomes the latest talent to leave Wieden & Kennedy, known for its advertising for Nike Inc. Buz Sawyer, managing partner of Lowe’s San Francisco office, is another alum of the Portland agency. In San Francisco, Lowe creates ads for Sun Microsystems, Eddie Bauer and Oral-B.
