Fidelity National Financial Posts 42% Net Income Gain

Irvine real estate services company Fidelity National Financial Inc. said net income rose 42% in the third quarter on a 44% gain in revenue.

The company’s net income for the three months totaled $27.5 million, or 90 cents a share, which included $3.3 million in merger expenses related to the acquisition of Alamo Title Holding Co. The profit was up from the $19.3 million, or 70 cents a share, posted a year ago. Revenue increased to $329.4 million from $228.4 million.
