The Irvine manufacturer of surgical lasers said its net loss for the second fiscal quarter narrowed to $1.1 million, or 10 cents a share, from $1.9 million, or 17 cents a share, for the same period last year. Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 increased 40% to $2.1 million, from $1.5 million.
