A Pair of Plays on Human Spirit

The Los Angeles-based multicultural Peace Quest will present two plays with messages about the human spirit and overcoming racism, sexism and violence at the Hudson Theater today and Saturday.
In today’s play, “Dear Child,” performed by adults, friends write a letter to their unborn children; On Saturday, “Dear Mom and Dad,” performed by teenagers, is about children’s life experiences.
Both plays begin at 8:45 p.m., preceded by a reception at 8 p.m. The Hudson Theater is at 6541 Santa Monica Blvd. in Hollywood. Admission is $10.
