SAN CLEMENTE

An agreement between the city and various landowners to acquire the right-of-way needed to build the $15-million Avenida Vista Hermosa Interchange was on the council’s consent calendar at Wednesday night’s meeting, denoting that it is considered routine and does not require any discussion.

The council also held a public hearing at Wednesday’s regular meeting to consider using eminent domain to acquire easements needed to complete an intersection near the site of the proposed interchange along Interstate 5.
