Information on lost animals, pet adoptions and licensing can be obtained by calling a toll-free number recently established by the Los Angeles Department of Animal Services.
The 24-hour service, available in English or Spanish, also provides directions to the city’s six animal service centers and accepts requests for dead animal pickups.
