Longtime Tustin residents Edgar and Elizabeth Pankey have given $1.5 million to establish the first endowed chair in the sciences at Chapman University in Orange. The Pankey Chair in Food Science and Nutrition will assist Chapman in its effort to enhance the quality and stature of its science programs, university officials said.
