American National Financial Inc.: The Irvine real estate services company posted second-quarter net income of $2.6 million, or 37 cents a share, 30% higher than the $2 million, or 62 cents a share, for the second quarter of 1998. The per-share amount was lower for the 1999 second quarter because of an increased number of shares outstanding. Revenue gained 19% to $28.1 million from $23.7 million.
