Paintings by French artist Claudia Meyer will be featured at an exhibit opening today at Galerie 224 Contemporary Art. A free public reception, set for 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, will feature live music, wine and appetizers. Admission to the exhibition is free. Meyer’s artwork will be for sale. The gallery is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. Information: (949) 494-5757.
