The City Council tonight will vote on awarding a $780,646 park improvement contract to Emsico Inc. to add ramps, barbecues, trash cans, tables, sand equipment and signs to the city’s parks. The proposal also includes a field light at El Toro Park. “We have 17 parks in the city, and some of them have gone a long time without anything,” said Councilwoman Marcia Rudolph. The council meets at 7 p.m. in chambers, 23161 Lake Center Drive, Suite 100.
