The Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District presented the school board with its preliminary budget for the 1999-2000 school year Tuesday. The district estimates that it will have approximately $138.9 million in general funds to spend. Of that, approximately 82% will go to employee salaries and benefits. The board is expected to adopt the budget June 29.
