Earnings Increase 8% at Bridgford Foods

Bridgford Foods Corp., Anaheim producer of convenience food products, reported that net income for the second fiscal quarter rose 8% to $2.6 million, or 23 cents a share, from $2.4 million, or 21 cents a share, for the year-earlier period. Sales for the quarter ended April 30 increased 2% to $33.1 million from $32.3 million.
