The City Council recently renewed a one-year, $17,780 contract with Absolute Asphalt Inc. for street maintenance. The contract, through the Public Works Department, is for crack and joint sealing, which prevents water from deteriorating the pavement. In 1996, the council awarded the contract for a two-year period with two one-year renewals. Information: (714) 647-5400.
