Residents are invited to celebrate the simultaneous closures of the El Toro and Tustin Marine Corps bases at 10 a.m. Friday at the El Toro base. Along with 5th District Supervisor Tom Wilson, Tustin Mayor Tracy Wills Worley will be on hand to bid adieu to the bases. Worley also plans to discuss Tustin Legacy, the city’s planned redevelopment of the Tustin base. More than 3,000 people are expected at the celebration.
