The City Council recently authorized a contract with a San Diego company to conduct an archeological survey of the Bixby Ranch site before it is developed into a shopping center. KEA Environmental Inc. will be looking for material of cultural significance. If the survey doesn’t find anything, the process will be completed before the end of March. The survey cost of $9,427 will be reimbursed by the Bixby Ranch Co.
