The City Council on Monday allowed a planned restaurant on Old Ranch Parkway to stay open later than originally permitted, despite the objections of several neighbors concerned about late-night noise. Mr. K’s American Grill will be allowed to stay open until midnight Sunday through Thursday and until 1 a.m. on weekends. The council’s 3-2 decision overturned the Planning Commission’s recommendation that the proposed restaurant close at 11 p.m. every day.
